I love the hunt - the pursuit of that elusive moment, the capture of human emotion and experience onto the medium of digital imagery. I love forever preserving the emotional intensity of the wedding day, the theatrical performance, or the athletic competition. The human experience is exciting and always changing, and I love being a part of it.
When it comes to weddings, I love sharing wedding days with happy couples, capturing each and every moment, every emotion, and preserving it forever. I like to unobtrusively capture people doing what they do best - being themselves, showing the true joyful emotions they express, not just the ones they put on for the camera. I believe that discriminating couples who want their wedding day photographs to express the vitality and love of their wedding day, select their photographer based not only on the quality of their work, but on who the photographer is as a person. I am upbeat and fun when I shoot and interact with your guests, and believe that the wedding day is the most beautiful day of your life - and I'm going to make sure your experience with me is not only the most professional, but the most comfortable and the most FUN, you've ever had with a photographer!
With performing arts, I bring years of experience as both a performer and director to the shoot. As a former Artistic Director of a small regional opera company, I am also very aware of the marketing needs that the photographs must fulfill.
With portraiture, I absolutely love to capture the personality of my subject in ways that not just make them comfortable and happy with the photographs, but which show them how beautiful they are. I love using light, environment, and subtle (and sometimes not to subtle) direction to bring out my subject's character.

As a photographer in general, I love capturing the human experience in light and color! Photography is an art form that is still relatively young. The advent of digital photography and computing has opened up the floodgates of creativity, and I look forward to many years of creating works of art out of every day people like you and me!
I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America, the Freelancers Union, and the American Guild of Musical Artists. I am a graduate of Rider University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts.
